The majority of family law firms collect a retainer fee and bill against the funds in various increments of one hour, with hourly rates reaching anywhere from $350 to $1,000 per attorney. It does not matter how long a particular task took or whether it was important for the case - it only matters that the attorney spent time doing it. This often results in exorbitant and unpredictable legal fees when the bill comes. When they tell you it is impossible to predict the total cost of their divorce - they mean it. And you pay for it.

 At the inception of each case, we provide a price sheet listing all services and the corresponding cost for each. We then collect a retainer fee and bill against the funds with fixed pricing for each individual service provided. We work closely with clients to ensure services offered match the legal strategy and provide defined pricing throughout their case. This means clients are provided clear pricing before, during, and after services are rendered. No running clock. No surprise bills.
